Landscapewell designs your new driveway around the material you have chosen as a surface. Different materials require us to approach the preparation stages of a project individually. For example, with block paving driveways, we excavate the sub-base up to a depth of 250-300mm.
With a material like tarmac, subject to conditions, we can lay directly over older surfaces for a quicker process, without compromising on quality. Our expertise allows us to work with all requirements and provide a customised experience every time.
Should we need to excavate and create a sub-base, we can factor in any drainage needs you may have. We even make provisions for soakaways in our quotations for new driveways, which cover full labour and material costs.
We use primary aggregates and quality sands for sub-base construction, and we compact all layers to ensure stable installation of the top surface. Our landscaping company will then lay your chosen material. Once set, we will point between the joins, should there be any, with mortar.
